The well named Pacific ( peaceful )Ocean waters are warm and ready
to receive tourists from all over the world.
Close to La Serena there are beautiful valleys, where the world
famous chilean grapes are grown.
Every new Year is greeted by 50.000 people who participate
in a party on the beach, with gread fireworks.

Ovalle, Capital of the Limari province with a population of 96.195
inhabitants.
Officicially inaugurated in April 21st 1831, it is called " The Pearl
Of Limari", and is located in one of the transveral valleys typical
for the Coquimbo region, with a climate that favours the culture of
early fruits, and vineyards for the production of pisco.
The ancient cultures who inhabited this area, left in these lands
a part of their way of life through vessels and handicrafts, but
mainly in draws engraved in rocks.
